Denpasar

Batubulan

Bona
It is a village known for bamboo growing and goods produced from bamboo such as furniture and mats. It is the center of palm-leaves and bamboo handicrafts. |

Celuk
It is the home to the famous local which are renowned for their artistic and craft skills. Celuk, located to the North East of Kuta, on the way to Ubud, is known as the center of gold & silverworks and along the street of Celuk are its artshops. |

Gianyar

Goa Gajah
Besides Shivaist remnants found inside the cave, there are several Buddhist remains such as the statues of Buddha and Harito. Ancient hermitage with a Ganesha statue can also be found inside the caves, often called the Elephant cave. It was discovered in the early 1920s and is known for its religious remains. |

Gunung Kawi
Gunung Kawi is a sacred spot for the Balinese people which dates back to the 11th century. The site is approximately 17 kilometers north east of Ubud, just after the town of Tampaksiring. It is an ancient memorial (tombs or candi) of the Balinese rulers King Anak Wungsu and his queens which are carved on a solid rock with beautiful surroundings. |

Mas
Well-known for special quality of woodcarving, painting, and stone carving made by talented craftman. This is where they teach the younger generations the art of carving which imitates the master carvers. |

Mengwi
In the town of Mengwi lies the great royal temple of Pura Taman Ayun. Stood since the 17th century, the temple served as the temple of the Mengwi Royal Dynasty, whose kingdom survived until the late 1800s. It is famous for its exquisite wooden pagoda-like shrines. |

Sangeh
Sangeh is the village in which northern part covers about 14 hectares of a holy homogenous forests of Pala /Nugmeg trees with hundreds of monkey inhabitants. The trees cannot be found on any other part of Bali and interestingly their existence in this village of Sangeh remains a mystery. You will find a beautiful temple hidden amongst the forest surrounded by the mystery species of trees. |
