Amlapura
Amlapura is the known to be the largest town in East of Bali. The principal city of Karangasem district, it is completed with a unique one-way traffic system, a local market, night market and shops placing pots and pans for sale. The main attraction would be the Raja`s palace which is situated in the city.

The biggest temple in Indonesia situated high on the slopes of Bali's Mount Agung situates Pura Besakih, also known as the "Mother Temple" of Hinduism in Bali. Aside from being the largest Hindu temple in Indonesia it outstands the size of the island's approximated 11,000 Hindu temples. Its magnificent 35 shrines and halls draw devotees from all over Bali and the World in large numbers each year. Moreover, uniquely the temple stood untouched despite the volcanic eruption of Mt. Agung in 1963.

Its peaceful white sandy beaches just enhances the natural feeling derived when in the area.

The Bat Cave is considered to be a holy cave, whose walls literally vibrate when thousands of bats are closely packed close together that the upper surface of the cave resembles continuing sludge. A temple with shrines protects the entrance to this unique cave, it is said to extend all the way to the ‘Mother Temple of Besakih’ and contain an underground river. It is one of the most famous tourist spots for people who seek for a unique holy experience.

kamasan Kamasan
Kamasan village is situated just a few kilometers outside of Klungkung. It is known to be the base of traditional paintings. The themes are derived from variations on the ancient Hindu epics, known as the Ramayana and the Mahabharata. Kamasan paintings take their essential characteristics from the wayang tradition. There you may view the outstanding collections of Kamasan classical paintings, gold, silver and brassworks.
klungkung Klungkung
Capital town of Klungkung District, located between Gianyar and Karangasem it features the islands of Nusa Penida, Nusa Lembongan and Ceningan. Klungkung is a busy town. On reaching the town centre, known for the old court of justice “Kertha Gosa”. Surrounded by a moat, this is a superb sample of Klungkung architecture, well known for its ceiling paintings in style inspired by Klungkung itself.

It is considered to be the tallest mountain in Bali which heights up to 3242 meters. A sacred temple called Pasar Agung is situated on the slopes of the mountain, devotees should climb through hundred of steps to reach the temple. Trekking is known to be famous in this region of Mount Agung, to allow beautiful scenery surroundings with cool breeze weather as well as to witness the spectacular sun rise.
padang bai Padang Bai Harbor
Padang Bai is the port of ferry terminal for sea transport to Lombok Island. It is a known fishing village situated in a perfectly sheltered bay. It is flawlessly shaped bay cradled by the hills it is one of the most perfect escape in the east of Bali. It also acts as a transit harbor to Bali’s neighboring islands such as Nusa Penida and Lombok, which includes passenger and cargo vessel departing daily. The beach is picturesque and quaint with a long sweep of sand where colorful boats are lined up by the coast. It is also a well known scuba diving site in Bali.
tenganan Tenganan
It remained independent up to the 14th century, when it was conquered by the powerful Javanese Kings. Some of the villages refused to adopt the religious and social customs of Java. These people are now known as the Bali Aga, which means `Original Balinese`. Their villages remained isolated for a long time and thus became a culturally divergent minority.
tirtha gangga Tirta Gangga
It was formerly owned by the Old Royal King of the Karangasem regency. The village of Tirta Gangga is situated in the eastern part of Bali and is home to some of the most beautiful rice padi fields. It is home to the bathing area with a pool which belonged to the former “Rajah”/King of Karangasem regency.
tulamben Tulamben
It is a fascinating and famous diving spot with beautiful underwater life and is where the wreck of S.S. Liberty is found.
