Bangli
This spectacular mountainous region is home to the most historic temples which include Kehen, Batur, and Penulisan which has archeological remains linking them to the era of King Udayana Warmadewa which dates back to the late 10th and 11th centuries. The lower land in the south part has fertile plains and has amazingly good rice growing terrains, forming a deck with glossy green-blue terraces, completed with bunch of bamboos and waving palm trees. |

Tampak Siring/Tirta Empul
It is a very well-known holy place famous for its Holy Spring Water with miraculous healing powers which flows from different parts of the world in one place. Also in Tampak Siring is the palace of the first Indonesian President which overlooks the whole area. |

Toya Bungkah
A down sloping hardened lava which leads to the hot springs of Toya Bungkah, it is featured with a public bathing area of hot spring situated by the lake Batur. Volcanic mineral which are a part of the contents of this hot spring water is believed to cure sicknesses. |

Trunyan
It is a place where dead bodies or corpse are placed unburned, the surrounding trees are believed to absorb the smell providing a good fragrance, this ancient village of the original Balinese culture is accessible by boat, but uniquely no visitors are allowed. It may be viewed from Lake Batur. |
